Things you will need: newspsaper (that is it!)

This is an easy way to teach your kids how to reuse/recycle newspaper. Just have your kids help you tear the newspaper in half down the main fold. The newspaper makes a great big and colorful placemat for toddlers that they have just made themselves. It also has the added bonus of making cleanup time after meals a snap. my toddler loves to throw his placemat in the trash so he helps me clean up too.
